I don't usually draw the comics in separate pieces, background / foreground, objects and all. But this one struck me as a fun puzzle to put together. Since this guy (let's call him Martin) was going to be in about the same position for a long stretch you can kinda play with the amount you change from one panel to the next. It's a little like producing the comic as if you were preparing assets for an animated scene. Change as little as possible for consistency and efficiency. Mostly efficiency.
